Tina is a Speech Language Pathologist at Baycare Health Systems. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology at Kent State University and her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Clarion University. After graduating from Clarion University, she moved down to Florida in 2004 for a job opening at a Skilled Nursing Facility. Since then she has worked in a private practice for two years working with children in the school setting and currently works at a local hospital with adult and geriatric patients. Her work at the hospital entails treating patients who may have difficulty communicating or trouble swallowing due to a stroke, or any other neurological disorder.
Tina became a Cuyahoga Falls Jaycee in Ohio in 1995. She served on the board as Membership Vice President in 1996 to 1997. She was also a Community Development Program Manager for the state of Ohio the same year. She joined the Tampa Jaycees in 2005 and has been a member ever since. Tina was the Chapter Operations Vice President in 2009. This year as The Tampa Jaycees’ President her goals are: to increase membership and member satisfaction, provide leadership training as well as new volunteer opportunities for the members, and implement more fundraising events to help out organizations and charities in our community. Tina would be happy to speak with anyone about any new ideas or projects for our chapter.
